MIldred E. "Millie" Sicker

Mildred E. 'Millie' Sicker
Age 89 of Louisville passed away Friday evening in St. Joseph's Care Center following an extended illness. Born in Massillon she had lived in Stark County all of her life and was the daughter of the late Michael and Gisella (Helsdorfer) Schotsch. She was a graduate of McKinley High School and had retried from the Sears & Roebuck Company. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter's Ladies Guild/Women's Club and the Sears Retirees. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Minnie Krach.
Millie is survived by her husband, Dario 'Joe' Sicker of the home; sons, Robert (Charlene) Sicker of Canton, Ronald (Alisa) Sicker of Avon Lake, Ohio; sister, Hilda Lower of Navarre; grandchildren, Stephanie (Joseph) Bosstick, Brittanie Sicker, Daniel Sicker, Cathryn (Sam) Greene, Kurt Sicker, Gretchen Sicker; and great-grandchild, Genevieve Bosstick. Mildred was a loving wife, a super mom for her two sons and a proud grandmother for her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Edward L. Beneliet as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Wackerly Funeral Home. Donations may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church.
