Nancy Louise Monea

Nancy Louise (Baum) Monea
passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in Canton on Sunday, March 2. Born to the late Kenneth and Kathleen Baum in 1935, she was a 1953 graduate of Marlboro High School and lived in Stark County most of her life except for years in Illinois and Colorado with her school teacher husband, David, who preceded her in death in December 2012. Well-known for her love of fashion, she was a kind and generous person with an outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor. She always had kind words for family, friends and strangers alike. One of her favorite expressions was 'always treat people with kindness and it will come back to you.' She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. She will be deeply missed by all lucky enough to have known her.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Kenny Lee; sister, Joan Van Camp; and grandson, David. Survivors include brothers, Terry (Denise) and Tommy (Tina) of Marlboro; sisters, Patty Schumaker (Jim) and Linda Yoder (Jerry) of Alliance and Peggy Campbell (Joe) of Malvern; sons, Michael (Denise) and Timothy (Yvonne) of Massillon and Jeffrey of Dallas; grandchildren, Jennifer of Massillon and Nathaniel and Daniel of Canton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 18 from 2 p.m.–5 p.m. at Buehler's at Nobles Pond Community Room at 7138 Fulton Dr. NW, Canton, Ohio.
