of Wexford, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, peacefully, after a five year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Rick was a registered architect in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and a commercial real estate developer. Rick loved his family, friends and life. He was a skilled sailor, skier, and avid motorcyclist. He touched us all with his easy going spirit. His "joie de vivre" will live in our memories forever.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sue; and sons, Austin, Lee, and Cameron; his mother, Robin Herrington-Bowen; and father, Richard L. Bowen, Sr. (Gail); sister, Laurel (Neil) Conway; twin brother, David (Karen Spinnazola); brothers, Sean (Amy); nephew, Evan; Scott (Ethel Smith-Bowen); niece, Carys; nephew, Samuel; sister, Tabitha (Martin Mensch); brother, Colin.
Rick's wishes were for his remains to be cremated and scattered to beautiful places on the earth. He will have a memorial stone at North Lawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home, 1600 Stone Mansion Dr. Sewickley, PA 15143.
