(Fry) Miller
60, of Wooster, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, Aug. 27, after a lengthy struggle with brain cancer. Suzanne was born on June 30, 1953, at Wooster Community Hospital to Frank and Norma (Wolf) Fry. She graduated from Wooster High School in 1971. She later attended classes at Wayne College and Trinity Seminary in Columbus. Suzanne was previously employed at the Wayne County Public Library, The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute, and Zion Lutheran Church. At Zion, she served as the Director of Children's Ministries for 14 years. She also did volunteer work at People to People Ministries. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster, where she also volunteered in the library and served on altar guild.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 32 years, Emil Miller, whom she married on June 13, 1981, in Wooster; children, Laura (Justin) Himelright of Massillon, Sarah (A. J.) Schumacher of Uniontown and Kathleen Miller of Wooster; mother, Norma Fry and sister, Beth Ann (Mike) Schafrath, both of Wooster; brother, Michael Fry of San Diego; grandchildren, Emerson and Liliana Himelright of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Fry.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster, with Pastor Ann Paynter officiating. Interment will be following the service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday, Aug. 27 between 6 and 9 p.m. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, or one hour prior to the funeral service at Zion on Saturday.
