Todd A. Blanc
age 80, of Canton, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Canton on Feb. 3, 1933 to the late Emmett and Doris Blanc. Todd was a 1952 graduate of Timken Vocational High School and was drafted into the United States Army in 1953, where he spent 18 months serving in Korea. He was employed with Ohio Bell for 33 years, was a life member of the Navarre VFW and the Army-Navy of Massillon. He was a longtime member of Eagle's Aerie #2370, the Navarre Moose Lodge and the Ohio Bell Pioneers. Todd was an avid bowler and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Lehman, whom he married in 1956; and his son, Kyle.
Survivors include his sisters, Marjory Miller and Pauline Caley; his brother, Dennis (Barbara) Blanc; special niece, Denise Prusacik; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. The family would like to send a very special thank you to caring senior service of Canton; the Mercy Hospice Program, especially Sister Suzanne; Pam Grimwood and Julie Butcher, Todd so loved those "girls".
