Wayne K. Doblar
age 65, of Canton died Tuesday morning, Feb. 18, 2014, on his 65th birthday after a courageous battle with a terminal illness. Born in Maple Heights, Ohio, he was a 1967 graduate of Maple Heights High School. Wayne was an Army veteran, having served in Viet Nam. He retired after 30 years as a candy maker.
Survivors include his wife, Rhea of the residence; father, Warren Doblar; mother, A. LaVerne Kuczcskowski; daughter, Kelly (Brad) Dufour; stepdaughter, Susan (George) Onul; stepson, Chad (Tracy) Throckmorton; grandchildren, Luke, Katie, Darren, Jake and Layla; sister, Lorraine Muth; two brothers, Dr. Dennis (Christy) Doblar and Garry (Kathy) Doblar; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice 7568 Whipple Ave. N.W., N. Canton, OH 44720.
