William D. Williams,
age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. William was born on Nov. 10, 1936, to the late Francis and Margaret Williams. He was born in Canton and raised in Zoarville, Ohio. William graduated from Dover High School in 1955 and served 2 years in the US Army. He retired from Republic Steel after 42 years and was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg. His interests included bird feeding, watching NASCAR and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Matthew, brother, Robert Williams and sister, Janet Barnes. William is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris, whom he married Nov. 21, 1964, son, Joey, granddaughter, Stephanie (Josh) Caldwell, grandson, Steven Williams, great-granddaughter, Chloe Caldwell, sister, Anna Mary (Max) Ball, brother, Jim (Paula) Williams, sister-in-law, Judy Williams, brother-in-law, Gene Barnes, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for William Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. William's family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
