William Page, Jr.
age 85 of East Canton, passed away on Nov. 9, 2012. He was born on Sept. 21, 1927 in Canton to the late William Sr. and Sylvia Page. Bill served our country as a Merchant Marine and in the Army during World War II. He was a security guard and retired from United Engineering Foundry as a welder. Bill was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and VFW Post 3747. He was a very giving man, helping anyone in need. He was also a very loving, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and brother.
Preceded in death by his son, Edwin W. Page; sister, Dora Miller and half-brother, Edwin Page., He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty J. Page; son, William (Kimberly) Page III; daughters, Barbara (George) Boyle and Becky (Kirk) Roush; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Ruth) Page; sister, Rebecca (Al) Torcasio; and his two dogs, Mallory and Daisy.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park with military rites.
