Willie J. Stutler
went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. She was born in St. Thomas, Ala., one of 18 children, to the late, James and Sendy (Ogles) Chastain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 44 years, Granville E. Stutler; grandson, Russell E. Tawney; granddaughter, Christina L. Stutler and son-in-law, David C. Lowdermilk. She is survived by her son, Fred (Sharon) Stutler; her daughter, Esther J. Lowdermilk; grandson, Bret (Melissa) Stutler; great grandson Garret Stutler and great granddaughter, Elyssa Stutler all of Canton; three brothers, Frank (Barbara) Chastain, Jack (Mary) Chastain and Louis (MaryAnn) Chastain all of Canton; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Willie belonged to two card clubs and the Seniors of St. Mary's. She loved playing Bingo and she has many special Bingo buddies that will truly miss her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend to everyone.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6-8p.m. in the funeral home. Those wishing, may sign the on-line guestbook at www.reedfuneralhome.com.
