Eugene Render Obituary
age 88, of Canton, had his life taken unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. A veteran of World War II, he served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Member of the Painters Union #603, he loved boating and sports and he helped a lot of people through hard times.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Helen Hanna; adopted parents, Dewey and Birdene Render. Survived by his two sons, Timothy (Cynthia) Render and David (Karen) Render; three grandchildren, Joseph, Lindsey, and Andrew Render; three sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday from 2-4 pm in the Schneeberger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, he wanted everyone to share a fond memory with someone. You may also sign the online guest book at:

gene u was my buddy. Ever morning u came and visited me at burger king. you always made me smile and got the same thing, egg only biscuit Sr. coffee and a paper.I am going to miss u buddy. Eugene was a great man as a customer where I work. He was a very special customer to our employees at Burger King. He would set the tone on how my day has gone. He will be deeply missed! Rest in Peace my dear friend!

Gene was a friend and co-worker with my father, and great friend to my mom after my father passed. One year at Christmas, he knew I did not have much, he bought my daughter a doll. There are men and there are men like Gene who are always there for anyone, anytime for anything and never asks for anything in return. I have known this man for many years and have loved him dearly and will sadly miss his smiling face. God bless you Gene.
