Frances Conner Obituary
Frances E. Conner
87, passed away Sept. 18, 2013. Mrs. Conner was born in Huntington, W.Va. and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1950. She retired as an office clerk for B.F. Goodrich in 1981 with 22 years service and also the Cuyahoga Falls Schools in 1988 as a cafeteria worker. She was a 35 year member of Falls Chapter 245 OES, helped establish the Northampton AARP, was a member of the Quirk Center Travel Club and the Homemaker's Club of North Haven Covenant Church. She was an avid bowler and golfer.
Preceded in death by her husband, Fred N. and her sister, Wanda Davis. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Polly of N. Canton; grandchildren, Laura and Mark (Britany) and stepbrother, Arch Scudder of Atlanta, Ga.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Her video tribute will be viewable at
