Ann (Prisbylla) JohnsonLesley Obituary
Lesley Ann (Prisbylla) Johnson 1967-2017
age 49, of Bolivar, is now dancing in Heaven, making strawberry pies, and taking them to all her new neighbors. On July 5, 2017 Lesley finished her miraculous journey, all be it too soon, having battled Brain Cancer for 21 months. Lesley was born Dec. 27, 1967, and married Dec. 18, 1993. She poured so much love into others, touched so many lives, and gave selflessly over and over again. She did not let a stage 4 diagnosis slow her down as she continued her love for mowing, walking, and encouraging others throughout her entire journey. Lelsey grew up in Amsterdam, Ohio, graduated from Springfield High School, attended Kent State University; and had a decorated 25 year career at GE Capital/Synchrony Financial in Canton. Her service to our community, with the local schools, and faithful volunteer at Faith Family Church demonstrated her compassion to be of service to others.
Lesley is survived by her husband, Tad Johnson; son, Tanner, daughter, Hayley; parents, William and Sherry (Paciorek) Prisbylla; sister, Wendy (Dan) Curren; in-laws, Terry and Sandy (Fenton) Johnson; brother-in-law, Scott Johnson; and nephew, Sage Johnson.
For those that can attend, we welcome family, friends and co-workers to Faith Family Church on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 to celebrate Lesley. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., celebration service at 11 a.m., and banquet immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VeloSano – Bike to Cure in Lesley's name (http://ccf.convio.net/goto/Lesley_Johnson). This is an organization which Lesley was passionate about and helps raise money for cancer research for the Cleveland Clinic. Arrangements are being handled by Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar. To share a memory please visit the funeral home's website.
