Anthony V. Perry 1921-2017
96, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 2, 1921, in Hillsville, Pa., the son of Domenic and Nellie (Yeropoli) Perry. Anthony was a graduate of Bessemer High School and the Duquesne School of Pharmacy. He worked for Gray's Drugstore and then owned and operated Perry's Pharmacy in Campbell for 14 years. He retired as a pharmacist from Rite Aid. Anthony was also a licensed real estate agent and worked for Ronn Realty for 14 years. He was a member of St. Dominic Church. He served on the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy for eight years, was a member of the Boardman Lions and the Knights of Columbus for 71 years.
Anthony will always be remembered lovingly by his wife the former Antoinette D. Sbrocco whom he married on June 26, 1948; two sons, John (Shirley) Perry, and Dr. Anthony Jr. (Kathy Catazaro-Perry) Perry; nine grandchildren, John Perry Jr., Michael Perry, Anthony Perry, Nicole (Ken) Wohlheter, Dominick Catazaro, Brooke (Chase) Catazaro, Mariah Perry, Vanessa Perry, and Anthony Perry III. four great-grandchildren, Xavier, Tyce, and twins, Brooklyn and Kensington Wohlheter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Domenic Perry; and brother, Joseph Perry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 12 at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
