Beverly Miller Heath

was born in Canton, Ohio, on September 16, 1946, to the late Mildred Clark of Canton, Ohio, and the late Robert Miller of Alliance, Ohio. Beverly was one of the first women to join the police force in Detroit, Michigan. Beverly retired after 25 years of service.

Beverly leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, William (Willie) Heath. In addition, Beverly leaves behind two loving sons, David (Heidi) Heath and Mark (Jacqline) Heath; as well as three loving grandchildren: Christian, David and Ashley Heath. Beverly is also survived by two loving brothers, Robert (Butch) Miller and his wife Ronnie, and Randall (Randy) Clark and his wife Lavalle. Three special cousins: Dorette Robinson of Detroit, Michigan, Judy Sessions (Kelvin) Jones and Karen Leonard (Eric) Showes of Canton, Ohio. Beverly is also survived by two special aunts from Canton, Ohio, Jeanette Stevenson and Gloria (Robert) Leonard as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at the Charles Step Funeral Home: (charlesstepfuneralhome.com) at 18425 Beech Daly (between 6 & 7 Mile Rds.) in Redford Charter Twp., Michigan 48240. Going Home services will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at Oakland Church of Christ at 23333 W. 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, Michigan 48033. Visitation at the church will be from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 immediately proceeded by the funeral service. Internment at Grand Lawn Cemetery at 23501 Grand River Ave., in Redford Charter Twp., Michigan. Condolences can be sent to 23401 Glencreek Dr., Farmington Hills, Mi. 48336
