Carl A. Cozy
age 83 of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born in Canton, Ohio on Feb. 14, 1930 to the late James and Mattie Cozy. He was a devoted member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville and a proud veteran of the United States Army. In 1990, after 31 years of service, Carl retired from Citizens Savings Bank as the Senior Vice President of the lending division. He also served on the board of trustees for the Louisville Library and on the board of directors of the Home Builders Association, Catholic Youth Organization and the United Credit Bureau of Ohio. Carl was also one of the founding members of the Louisville Little Leopards organization in which he was a coach for many years. When considering all of his accomplishments, he was most proud of the 61 years he spent with his loving wife and the life they built together.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Cozy; son, Jeff (Kris) Kiko-Cozy; daughter, Carla (Jack) Blake; son, Andy (Kathleen) Cozy; and grandchildren, Helena, Jackie, Amanda, Matt, Gabe and Katie. A special thanks to Aultman Hospital, Aultman Hospice Care, Aultman Infusion Center, all blood donors and the Gabrail Cancer Center.
