Our beloved mother Clara M. Jannelli, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday after a short illness. Born in Powhatan Point, Ohio on Aug. 19, 1921, to the late Victor U. and Nellie (Corsi) Fedeli. She was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Jannelli; husband, Joseph Jannelli; sisters, Lena Fedeli, Victoria Palomba, Gemma Duplain and Alice Duplain; brothers, Dante Fedeli and Victor Fedeli.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta Gramoy (Nick), Josephine Garcia (Jesse); daughter, Linda Jannelli; granddaughter, Nicole Peugeot and husband, Joel; grandson, Dakota Haley; great-grandchildren, Michael and Avila Haley; sister, Elia Costello; sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Tom Prestier; sisters-in-law, Janet (Dante) Fedeli, Janet (Victor) Fedeli; brother-in-law, Raymond Duplain; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clara is retried from Canton City Schools and was an active member of St. Peter Parish. Our family wishes to thank the entire staff of St. Joseph Care Center for the love, compassion and care they have given our Mother. They were truly her second family. A special thank you to Mercy Hospice staff for the comfort they gave our Mother in her final days. You are God's chosen people, never to be forgotten by us.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Parish with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit, celebrant. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. The family request no flowers. Memorial donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
