David Michael
died peacefully the afternoon of Nov. 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Albert and Annita Berardi on March 20, 1949 in Akron, Ohio.
He is survived by mother, Annita Berardi; his devoted wife of 41 years, Adele Berardi; his sons David J (Johnna) Berardi, and Matthew Berardi; brother John (Cheryl) Berardi; sister Debra (Steve) Michalec; brother-in-law Vincent (Maria) Santoferraro; and sister-in-law Celeste (Don) Miller; two precious grandchildren, Nicholas and Gia Berardi; and many nieces, nephews, family, and close friends.
Dave was an owner of the M & L Supply Company where he had worked for 40 years. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University, an avid and talented golfer and had an appreciation for cars and music. Dave was known for his devotion to his family, having a great sense of humor, and appreciation for the simple things in life. He was a man of whit, intelligence, kindness, and courage.
He is preceded in death by his father Albert Berardi, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Vincent and Frances Santoferraro, and his nephew Andrew Michalec.
We would especially like to thank Dr. Jehad Y. Asfora, his staff, and the many doctors and staff at the Cleveland Clinic that cared for Dave over the years.
Visitation will be held at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave NW North Canton, OH 44720 from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21. A memorial mass will be held Friday, Nov. 22, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 241 S. Main St. North Canton, OH at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Msgr. James A. Clarke as Celebrant.
