David S. Marks
age 67 of Canton, passed away on Feb. 14, 2014. He was born Sept. 7, 1946 in Canton, son of the late Levi and Nellie (Kelly) Marks. He retired from Biery Cheese in 2013 and had formerly worked at Bowdill Company. He was an avid bowler.
David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vicky (Loch) Marks; sons Kevin and David Marks Jr., all of Canton; brother Timothy (Kailyn) Marks of Louisville; sisters Helen Kintigh and Sharon (Charlie) Meek both of Canton; granddaughters Samantha Skelly of Florida, Kayla Marks of Canton; great-grandson and his "pride and joy" Chase Simon, one great-granddaughter on the way and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Pearl Stipe, Idella Keller and Beverly Hammond.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Akron Childrens Hospital. Please leave condolences at www.heitger.com.
