Delford L Mayle
74, of Canton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, at Aultman Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Grafton, W. Va. on July 19, 1943, a son of the late Wilbert and Lillian (Parsons) Mayle, also preceded in death by son Timothy Lee Mayle, died 1997. Employed as a heavy equipment operator at Gregory Galvanizing, of Canton, for 40 years, before retiring in 2005. Served in the U.S. Army as a SPC 4, during the Vietnam Conflict.
Survived by his wife and loving companion of 39 years Voila (Taylor) Mayle, two daughters Lorietta Mayle, of Canton South. Denise (Wayne) Balmer, of Coco, Fla.; two sons Druford (Liesl) Mayle, of Norwick, CT, Wesley Mayle of Canton; six sisters Judy White, of Lawrenceville, GA, Julia Mayle, Eleby Taylor, both of Canton, Elda Howard, of Hot Springs, VA, Emma Taylor, of Canton, Erma Mayle, of Grafton, W.Va.; four brothers Durley Mayle, of Grafton, W.Va., Dennis Mayle, Jefferson Mayle, both of Canton, Zendell Mayle, of Grafton, W.Va.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11a.m. in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Marvin “Jack” Mayle officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8pm also in the funeral home. You may add your condolences on our website: www.waltner-simchak.com
