She attended Washington High School, from which she graduated in 1953. The family moved back to Ohio in 2001, to be closer to Dee's late sister, and brother-in-law, Alice "Jeanie" Fike, and Wayne Fike. Dee was a devoted member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She found great joy in her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Paul Cooper; son, Douglas Cooper (Antoinette) of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter, Debra Abrigg (Timothy) of Green, Ohio; and three granddaughters: Alyssa Brady, Samantha and Sierra Cooper.
