Don Luzio Obituary
Don Luzio
lived 83 years. He was the proud son of Joe and Julia Luzio. Canton was his home until the United States Marine Corps. asked him to visit Korea. Upon returning home, he married Etha (Kurzinsky) and wanting to own his own business he opened a Sohio service station. In March of '57 he had his first son, Gene, who later married Mindy Lewis, had three daughters, Tonya Luzio, Valerie and Jessica Brewer. Tonya has two girls, Maya and Maddie; Valerie has a son, Joey and Jessica has a girl, Jaelyn.
Before all this, back in '61 Don had his second son, Dale. Don gave up the Sohio station, moved to North Canton and went to work for Willis Motors Co., as an auto mechanic. Still yearning to be self-employed, he started Don's Mower Service; a part-time business repairing lawn mowers. In 2000 it became his full-time job and employed his two sons. I tell you all this because now he is gone and we miss him so very much.
An informal chapel service is planned for July 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation at my.mcsf.org/donate. The family invites you to visit www.reedfuneralhome.com.
