Donald G. Plympton
age 76, born Sept. 19, 1936 in Malvern, Ohio, passed away in his home Dec. 5, 2012 in Spingfield, Tenn.
He is survived by wife of 36 years, Charlotte Hall-Plympton, of Springfield, Tenn.; two sisters, Vivian Sickafoose of New Philadelphia, Ohio and Jean Hummel of Canton, Ohio; three daughters, Debbie Hawk of Canton, Ohio, Shelley Dickerson, Lisa Brokaw and one son, Donnie Plympton, all of Tampa, Fla. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Plympton; father, Milton Plympton; sister, Pat Carpenter; and brother, Foster Plympton. He is also survived by two stepsons, William Heighton, of Massillon, Ohio, and Douglas Heighton, of Springfield, Tenn. His legacy also includes 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services are Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, with visitation from 2-6 p.m. and a memorial service following at 6 p.m. with Pastor Vernon Hostetler officiating. A graveside committal service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. A second event will be held at the Grace Baptist Church in Springfield, Tenn., Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, with visitation from 2-6 p.m. with a memorial service following at 6 p.m. with Pastor Steve Freeman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the .
