Donald W. Frank
Age 90, died Sunday after a extended illness. Born in North Canton, he had lived in the North Canton – Massillon area his entire life. He was a retired Superintendent from Bernard Construction and was a farmer most of his life. Donald was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton, American Legion Post 44, Massillon Amvets Post 6, Massillon V.F.W., F.F.A., Farm Bureau A.A.R.P. Chapter 4121 and was a charter member of the North Canton Council No. 3777 Knights of Columbus. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth (Granchi) Frank, four daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and David Seders of Pickerington, Christine and Jay Linder of Massillon, Carol Hill (Ronnie) of North Canton and Peggy Frank (John McKinney) of Hebron, son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Frank; seven grandchildren: Lindsay Dietrich, Patrick and Brian Seders, Ashton and Morgan Linder, Ashley Duffield and Sandi Espinosa; three great-grandchildren: Colin and Olivia Espinosa and Clayton Duffield; two step-grandchildren, Michael Reiter and Stephanie Frase; and two sisters-in-law, Wilma Frank of Lawrence Township and Genie Frank of North Canton. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Edna Frank; sister, Catherine Werner and; three brothers, Russell B., Ralph and Leo Frank. The family would like to thank his cousin, Donald Frank for his visits and Jeannie, Evelyn, Shirley and Daisy and Crossroads Hospice especially Nicole for their care.
Family and friends will meet on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton for a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Jeffrey Stealey as celebrant. Entombment with military honors will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
