51, of Canton, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was born in Canton on July 28, 1965 and was a graduate of Timken High School. Following graduation, Eric proudly enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after four years of service.
He leaves his mother, Marilyn Anthony of Canton; father, Willie O. Davenport of Stone Mt., Ga.; stepfather, Willie George Anthony of Canton; brother, Chris G. (Davonne) Anthony; sisters, Sophonia (Dywane) Martin, Shante, Taneia, Tyana Davenport; children, Courtney of Jacksonville, Fla., Chazmin of Massillon, Amber Williams of Michigan, Airica Anthony of Canton; aunts, Mattie Snell,Hassie (Tim) Pryor, Barnie C. Allen all of Canton, Joanne Brunner and Bonnie B. Allen of Massillon; uncles, Curtis Allen Jr, John Allen both of Canton, and William Hairston of Massillon; grandchildren, Courtlynne, Camryn, Mia, Tailynn, Anthony and Avie; special beloved friends, Keith Jones, James Billings, Kenny Dunivant and Marvin Harris Jr; beloved cousins, Angel Allen, Rashu Jeffries, David Allen all of Canton, Kimberly Brunner of Massillon and Paul G. Brunner of Alabama and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11a.m. at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, with Pastor James E. Chester Sr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
