Geneva Revels Obituary
Revels
age 83, passed away on Jan. 30, 2012. She was born on June 14, 1928 in Hartville, Ohio to the late Fred and Minnie VanCamp. Geneva was a 1947 graduate of Marlboro High School. She enjoyed playing 500 bid in a card club for 50 years, embroidery, reading, craft shows, and garage sales.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Revels and sister, Grace Stucker; she is survived by her children, Betty (Al) Neifert of Canton, Nelson Hess of Canton, Richard (Lorina) Hess of Alliance, Michael (Sue) Hess of Akron, Shirley (Jim) Young of Canton and Rose (Steve) Bichsel of North Carolina; step children, Carolyn Edgein of North Carolina, Charlotte Weaver of Canton and Leonard Revels of North Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, John Stucker of Arizona.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Thursday at the Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Canton Baptist Temple or American Heart Association.
