Obituary Condolences

George Dean
passed away on Aug. 29, 2013 at the age of 78. He was born in Nashport, Ohio on February 22, 1935 to Russell Osborn and Dorothy Houck. George graduated from Timken Vocational High School in 1953. Upon graduation he went to work for the Timken Company for 44 years, eight months and retired on December 31, 1997. George was in the U.S. Army and honorably discharged in 1963. He enjoyed sports, gardening, and was proud of his yard. He was a lifetime member and officer of Amvets Post #124 and a member of the Eagles, Moose, and Slovak Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Scott Osborn. Surviving George is his loving wife, Mary, of 26 years; two children, Michael Osborn of North Canton and Brenda Graham of Akron; granddaughters, Stephanie (Josh) Sanor and Jennifer Osborn; brothers, Jim (Margene) Osborn of Canton and David Houck of Arizona; sister, Shirley (Ken) Kral of California; three stepchildren, Cheryl (Jim) Keiffer, Carl and Vince Johnson of Canton; five step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. His wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
