Gerald Wayne Howe 1933-2017
84, passed away on September 20, 2017, following a brief illness. He was born in Frankfort, Ind., on July 19, 1933. Gerald was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of ‘51 and a lifelong Tiger Fan. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and served as a United States Marine. Jerry retired from the USDA in 1998; and was member of Cathedral of Life Church. His accomplishments include running in both the Marine Corps and The New York Marathons.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Howe; their children: Lisa Herrington, Cindy Osborn, Jude Howe and Pattie Howe; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, James E. (Jackie) Howe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Thielmeyer; his father, Willard D. (Aurelia Marcus) Howe; mother, Beulah (Camp) Rickard; and two brothers, Willard (Bus) Howe and Robert Howe.
