Harold and I met in North Canton Rotary 32 years ago. Though not in the same circles we remained fairly close and always enjoyed running into each other and exchanging news. We shared the same interest: doing income taxes. He was one who always drew respect. I am glad I knew him and extend my sympathy to the family.

Carolyn, Anne, George, friends and family,

I met Harold through my job at Johns Grille. Over the last two years I have been so blessed by him and all of you. My life has been changed and I am a better person because you shared your life with me. No matter how stressful my day was or what was going on in my life I was always filled with peace and happiness knowing that I would see Harold each week. He was always there with a hug and kind word for me. He always had some funny story to share or some tidbit of advice that I will carry with me forever. I will deeply miss him but I know he will live on in each of you. I hope this time for you will be filled with peace and love. My prayers will be with all of you.

Dear Carolyn, John, Jennie and family,
Elizabeth called me yesterday to tell me of Uncle Harold's death. I am so sorry for your loss. He was truely one of my most favorite uncles on Mitch's side of the family. My heart goes out to you all as his death was so unpredicted. He was the kindest, sweet man in all of North Canton! Heaven just became a richer place with his entrance.
Bless you all,
Janet Mason

Dear Carolyn and family,

I had the honor of working with Harold in his capacity of board president for the Burnham Hills Association. He was a delight to be with, his easy manner, his intelligence and his respect for the people he worked with were a joy. I learned a lot just being in a room with him. My life is fuller from having known him.
