Harold "Lefty" Stalder Obituary
Harold "Lefty" Stalder
age 90 of Canton died on March 16, 2014. Born in Dover, Ohio on May 2, 1923 to the late Joseph and Freda (Geckler) Stalder, living most of his life in Canton. He graduated from Timken High School class of 1941 and was a former bus driver for Canton RTA, retiring in 1986 after 42 years of service. Lefty was active in the West Manor Home Improvement Association for over 50 years, member of Aqua Power Boat Club, Trinity United Church of Christ of Canton and the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club. He enjoyed playing bridge and euchre with his many friends and loved country music. His family was his pride and joy and always looked forward to spending birthdays and holidays with them. He enjoyed life and will always be remembered for his good nature and how fun he was to be with. Due to many health issues Lefty's last years were challenging, but due to his good attitude and will to live he endured and "played the cards he was dealt".
