James H. Clark Aug. 6, 1923-July 6, 2017

“Together Again”
Island Lakes resident James H. Clark passed away on July 6, 2017, in Florida. He was born and raised in the Sycamore area of Clarksburg, W.Va., and proudly served in the Army during World War II in Normandy, Northern France and the Rhineland. After his honorable discharge, he returned to West Virginia, met and married the love of his life Margie (Mary Margaret Fernandez) and eventually moved to Canton, Ohio, where they lived until becoming full time Florida residents in 1994. Jim was an agent for Western-Southern Life Insurance for many years and truly loved helping his clients plan for the future. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping, especially at Atwood Lake in Ohio and Port Canaveral in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margie of 63 years, his parents Harlan Wayne Clark and Martha (Bates) Clark, brother Truman (Chub) Clark, sister Louise (Wall) and niece Mary Helen (Martin-Williamson). He leaves behide his daughter Debra (Guenzi), granddaughter Marijo (McNeil) and great granddaughters Kyra and Vaughn McNeil. Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law Helen and Melvin Botts of Odenton, Md. as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and burial will take place later this summer in Shinnston, W.Va.
