Linda was hardworking and dependable, and most recently worked as a systems analyst for Healthscope Benefits. The most important thing to Linda was her faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ, and she was a member of Jersey Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, always there as a wealth of strength and a great encourager. She also loved to work in her garden.

Yerian; siblings, Karen (Jim) McAlinden, Gary (Diane) Yerian, Debby (Dave) Houchins, Sandy (Anthony) Zorbas, and Becky (John) Parks; and grandchildren, Luke, Grace and Kyle Fout, and Ella Grace King. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma E. Yerian; and brothers, Daniel and David Yerian.
Family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Road, Pataskala. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the church with visitation from 9-10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Dear Fout Family,
Matt and I are so sorry for your sudden and tragic loss, but praise God for the assurance that Linda was a strong believer in Jesus. I had the pleasure of singing along-side Linda in the JBC choir for several years. I recall how I got to know her more personally when I went to an Avalon concert with her and Tracie. Woody, Tracy, and Bob, Please know that my prayers are with you as you deal with the loss of your wife and mom. Even though you know Linda is now present with the Lord, your grief is overwhelming. Know that your Christian family is praying for you and your family. I have know Linda since we were young people at Canton Baptist Temple. She had a special talent with her voice and I know she is now in the heavenly choir singing away. Find comfort in that fact. I pray God surrounds you with peace and comfort at this most difficult time Sunday and Monday and in the days ahead.

My prayers are with the Fout family. Linda was an amazing woman, and she will be missed by all. I just saw her a few weeks ago at a baseball game and she greeted me with a hug and a smile. Woody,
Friends are always hard to loose,I can't imagine loosing my wife. Cathy and I saw Linda several years ago when I was preaching at Calvary Bible Baptist. She hadn't changed since we were all at CBT. I cherish the memories of her friendship. Please know Cathy and I are praying for you and your family. The words of Jesus will never mean more "Let not your hearts be troubled. Ye believe in God believe also in me. In my fathers house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you. I go to preapare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there ye may be also" Linda has never sung so sweet as she sings today in the presnece of the Lord Jesus. May the Lord comfort you and your family.

Linda was a very friendly person to me and my wife in her days at New Life. I will never forget her highest highs in the choir and the solo's she performed in her music ministry to the Body of Christ.

While for Linda it is graduation day to her heavenly home, there are many who are left behind to mourn the loss. May the God of the peace that passes all understanding flood Woody and the family with comfort.

I sent this earlier, but have not seen it. Iam writing again to make sure you receive it. My heart aches for you at this time. Linda was a friend of mine in the Canton Baptisi Temple youth group. At times like these only God knows the "Why?" It makes no earthly sense to me, but this I know. There is nothing that happens in our lives that is out of His control. I pray that this fact and God's grace will be your anchor at this time. Sandy (Baker) Mock

There are people on this earth who face the world with such tenacity and feistiness that others begin to perceive them as a permanent fixture, somehow rooted in the earth itself, keeping it on a certain tilt. Linda was one of those people to me. I am quite sure that the earth has tilted slightly off kilter now that she has left it! I will miss our seasonal lunches filled with her vigor, humorous stories, and motherly advice. I imagine her storming through the heavenly gates and giving the angels some of that wisdom! My prayers to all who are feeling the loss of her physical presence. May her spirit fill the void.

To the family of Linda Fout: I didn't know Linda personally, but I became a member of Canton Baptist Temple when she was a member. And I so looked forward to hearing her sing. She has a beautiful voice (even now, that she's singing praises to her Lord, Jesus Christ). Please accept our most profound sympathies in your temporary separation from her. My heart is aching for all of you. Linda was a friend at CBT. God had used her so much, and only He knows the "WHY?" here. Sometimes we can only trust what we know, and that is God never makes a mistake. Oh, that your hearts can rest upon this and His grace. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
