Linda M. Ziccardi
78, passed away Aug. 6, 2017. She was born on Sept. 9, 1938 the daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche Miracle. Linda graduated with the class of 1956 from Dennison High School and from Aultman Hospital School of Nursing with the class of 1959. Linda had a strong work ethic working at Aultman Pediatrics from 1959 to 1961, Rose Lane Nursing Home from 1972 to 1978, Indian River School from 1978 to 1990 and retired from Professional Nursing in 2000. Linda was a woman of great faith. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her family. She loved her grandchildren and never missed any of their games, concerts and other school activities. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Ohio State fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alan F. Miracle. Linda is survived by her loving family, daughter, Mary K. (Kimball Shields) Ziccardi; sons, Andrew M. (Debbie) Ziccardi and Dr. Matthew P. (Jennifer) Ziccardi; beloved grandchildren, Franklin, Madeline, Zachary and Jacob Ziccardi; twin brother, Rev. Dr. Larry L. Miracle; nephew, George A. Miracle; niece, Maureen (Jim) Crabtree; and special nieces, Amanda (Jonathan) Lukens and Emily Baker.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Reed Funeral Home (NORTH CANTON CHAPEL 801 Pittsburg Ave NW) where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Alan Cory officiating. Interment will take place Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aultman College of Nursing Scholarship Fund and/or Cuyahoga Falls Cancer Club.
