Louise Fantin Patrick “Together Again”
80, of New Philadelphia, passed away in her home on Sept. 4, 2017, following an apparent heart attack. Born July 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Emma (Visintainer) Fantin. In 1960, Louise married the late Wishard Lee Patrick and together the couple raised one son. Louise was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She served on the Board of Elections and was an active member of the Union 550 1/2 Club. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much and treasured the time they spent together.
Louise will be deeply missed by her son, Randolph “Randy” Patrick of Caldwell; three grandchildren, Randall (Leah) Patrick of New Philadelphia, Catherine (Cory) Beatty of Mineral City, Caleb (Mallory) Patrick of Mineral City; as well as four great- grandchildren, Kimberly, Gabriella and Adalyn Patrick and CJ Lee Beatty. Completing the family are brothers and sisters-in law, Jack (Carol) Fantine, Victor Fantin, Daniel (Sharon) Fantin, Louis (Ruth) Fantin, Norma Fantin all of New Philadelphia, Shelby Fantin of Baltic, Wiley and Jimmy Dale Patrick both of Leavittsville, Virginia Fowler and Vonita (Bernie) Sampsel all of Mineral City; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Wishard Lee Patrick on June 12, 2014; her brother, John Fantin; and sisters-in-law, Fran Fantin, Carol Fantine, Mary Louise Fantin, Dolly Price, Lena Courim, Anita Patrick and Rena Haney.
The family will greet guests on Thursday Sept. 7, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where a Christian Wake service will begin at 7 p.m. Father Jeff Coning will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia. A meal will follow the services in St. Ambrose Hall. The family requests memorial contributions are directed to Sacred Heart Church, 139 Third Street NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
