Norma Jean Arick Obituary
Norma Jean Arick
our loving mom, grandma and great-grandma went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 1, 2012 at the age of 82 after a hard-fought battle with several illnesses. She was a lifelong resident of Canton and more recently lived in the Dover/New Philadelphia area. Born on Sept. 25, 1930, Norma was the daughter of the late Cash Denver and Ruth Rosenlieb. She worked at the Hoover Company, HP Products, Photomatic Typographers and Printing Systems Company in the Akron/Canton area. Upon her retirement, Norma was a full-time mom and grandma whose loving support and guidance left an indelible footprint on the lives of all of her family members. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Arick.
She is survived by a loving family including two children, daughter, Roberta Amos of East Sparta and son, Robert P. (Tammy) Arick, Jr. of New Philadelphia; as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Ryan Amos of Chicago, Renee (Joe) Yglesias of Toledo, Kyle Amos of East Sparta, James Arick of New Philadelphia and Alaina Yglesias of Toledo, all of whom will miss her dearly.
