Angeloni
Age 84, of Malvern, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Aultman Hospital, following a short illness. Oldridge was born in Flushing, Ohio on Feb. 27, 1926, the son of the late Donato and Concettina (DelPinto) Angleoni. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Navy as a motor machinist mate 3rd class on the USS LCS29 Landing Craft Support in the Pacific during World War II. Feathers and his wife were the owners of the Malvern Dairy Queen for 30 years. He also worked as a hand grinder at TRW for 20 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Catholic Men's Club; Valley Post of the American Legion; and the Landing Craft Support Association.
Feathers is survived by two daughters, Denise (James) Townsend of Malvern, Lynette M. Angeloni and John M. Gramse of Savannah, Ga.; grandchildren, Brad (Lauren) Townsend of Summerville, S.C., and Karli Townsend of Malvern; and his faithful friend, Angie.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn in 1999; and a brother, Vincent in 2006.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern, at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 with Celebrant Fr. Victor Cinson. Calling hours will be held Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. A Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friends unable to attend may register online at our website:
