Patricia Anne (Amato) Dray Obituary
75, passed away following a long illness on October 10, 2017. She
was born in Canton, Ohio on May 13, 1942, to Nunzie "Ted" and
Yolanda "Helen" (Diano) Amato. Patti was preceded in death by her
parents. As a young woman, Patricia rode horses competitively and
won several awards. She also worked hard in her father's pizza shops
and later became a hairdresser. Patti married James Dray on May 10,
1970. Soon after, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they later
welcomed their son, Michael. Patti and Jim spent many years out West
before returning to Ohio in 1993. Patti was known for her love of
horses, devotion to her family, and care of her beloved dogs. She
blessed many with her expertly crocheted blankets and household
items crafted while watching her favorite types of movies, Westerns.
Patti's memory will be honored by husband, James; son, Michael
(Veronica) Dray; and sister, Rosemarie Salimbeni (John Thomson) of
N.C. as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Patti's family will receive friends as they celebrate her life Saturday,
October 14th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral
Home, 303 South Chapel Street, Louisville, OH, 44641. Memorial
donations may be made in her memory to your local humane society.
