Ray Spencer Conley
Ray passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 30, 2017. He was born in Uhler, West Virginia to Spencer R. and Vera (Mollohan) Conley. He came to Ohio in 1950 and resided in the town of Louisville. Ray was a machine operator at the former Canton Malleable Iron Company for 38 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served on active duty from 1952 to 1954. He attended the Louisville Baptist Temple. In Ray's free time he enjoyed gardening, working on lawn tractors, building puzzles, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family.
Ray is survived by his wife, Annabel Conley to whom he was married for 64 years. They have three sons, Kevin (Karen), Kenny (Diane) and Keith (Laura); two daughters, Karen (Dean) Jones and Kathy (Gene) Payne; eight grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) Jones, LeAnna (Adam) Harrington, Stacy (Brent) Ferroni, Luke (Megan), Gina (Tony) McAllister, Jared Parsons, Lauren (Vick) Shankle and Julie Conley; seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Janice Barnes.
Ray's family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Harmon officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Louisville Baptist Temple Missionary Fund.
