Richard (Rico) K. Neidig II
age 50, of Canton, lost his hard-fought battle with cancer on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. Rich was a former employee of Roricks Drywall Services and a member of the Louisville Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an avid Cleveland Brown's fan and enjoyed playing pool. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Richard and Bonnie Neidig of Canton.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 26 years, Joyce; two daughters, Reeva and Casey; granddaughter, Makayla Clemson, all of the home; brother, Joseph (Kristi) Neidig of Canton; half-brother, Bryan (Denise) Hever of Lisbon; mother-in-law, Esther Burnett; brother-in-law, Albert Burnett, both of Canton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Loretta Dolak of Massillon; several nieces. nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a great number of friends. Rich was a great guy with a big heart and a great sense of humor, who will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Rich's oncologist, Dr. Trehan; his hospice nurse, Jen and his aide, Alan for all of their help and support throughout this difficult experience.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Gary Smith as Funeral Celebrant.
