Susan Reamer Farragher Obituary
Susan Reamer Farragher 1941-2017
Our Mom and Friend, Susan Reamer Farragher, 76, would like everyone to know her work here is done, she has been called home and is now in the arms of our Lord. Susan's strong will to live, unwavering faith that she was going to "beat this thing" got her through more than 2-year valiant fight with Multi Myeloma.  Succumbing to her disease, her earthly body was unable to keep up with her spirit, and she is now without pain, without suffering and indeed whole again.  She has left us with memories of a life well lived, lessons of love, strength and how to give back. Known for her ease in making a complete stranger a friend for life, her contagious smile, entertaining sense of humor, and above all her ability to make everyone she met laugh.
Susan was born April 24, 1941 in Navarre, Ohio, and Graduated from Central Catholic High School in Massillon, moved to Mansfield after marrying the love of her life Jack Farragher in 1963 and together raised four children.  She became Fingers the Clown in 1977 and enjoyed making people laugh. Susan worked at Ohio Health for 35 years and retired at the age of 71.
Left to continue on with her life lessons and strength are her four loving children, Tracy Farragher, Sharon (Vince) Farris, Patrick (Jacqueline) Farragher, Kelly Farragher; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Bill) Buckler-Pelton, Tawny Farragher, Tyler (Lyndsay Henson) Barley, Nathan Farris, Travis Carver, Grant Farragher and Abigail Farragher; four great-grandchildren, Landon Sowards, Jackson Durchik, Chase Pelton and Charlotte Pelton; and Gracie Farragher- her well known favorite dog. She has preceded in death by Jack Farragher and her parents, Dorothy and Gerald Reamer.
Susan has given the gift of body donation to Wright State University for the advancement of Education and Medical Science.  After her body has completed its journey her earthly remains will rest in the Gardens of Wright State to be forever remembered as a selfless last deed of her kindness. A Celebration of Susan's life will begin Monday July 10, 2017 with a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield, Ohio with Rev. Gregory Hite officiating.  Calling hours will be held later that day from 4-6 p.m. at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, Mansfield.  Immediately following a gathering will be held to share memories of Susan's Life well lived at 159 Westgate Dr., Mansfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local cancer club to help those fighting this dreadful disease.
