Travis James Balint
The Guest Book is expired.
On April 4, 2013, following a brief illness, the best part of the Balint Family went home to be with Jesus. Travis James Balint, age 38, was the best son, brother, uncle, and friend that anyone could have. His gentle quiet spirit made an impact to all who took the time to know him. He set an example for all to follow. He was always there with a listening ear, a helping hand, and a giving spirit. He was kind with everyone, and forgave unconditionally. He lived a life showing the highest form of love - agape love. Travis attended and graduated from Carrollton High School (class of 1992) and Kentucky Christian University (class of 1997). He was a member of the Greenford Christian Church where he enjoyed the services he attended. He never felt like he had to go to church, but that he got to go to church. Travis was not only welcomed into heaven by Jesus, but by his grandfather, Paul J. Heylmun of Minerva, and his grandmother, Ruth M. (Allison) Heylmun of Salineville, Ohio, and his cousin, Lisa L. (Brown) Evans of Malvern, Ohio. He was also greeted by a wonderful saint who had an impact on forming the man Travis became, Mr. Harry Toot, Sr.
Those of us here left on earth to miss him until we meet again are his parents, Willard and Pat (Heylmun) Balint; his younger brother, Brandon L. Balint, wife, Kanyshai; his youngest brother, Sgt. Christopher "Brady" Balint, wife, Heather; and his sister, Lorraine G. (Rowe) Smith and her children, Bethany, Jonathan, and Jenna; and his aunt, Marge Brown, Malvern. Those who will miss him most are the lights of his eyes, his three nephews, Noah, Paul, Tristan and his niece, Beth; along with the stepdaughter, Madison Long.
There will be no formal memorial service and the family is asking that in lieu of flowers please give donations to Big Reach Center of Hope c/o The Greenford Christian Church, 11167 Lisbon Road, PO Box 53, Greenford, OH 44422.
