Twila M. Herstine
Age 80, of Louisville went to be with her personal Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in her home following a brief illness. Born June 30, 1932 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Bessie Mae (Weaver) Unkefer. She was a Louisville resident most of her life and retired from the Hoover Company. Twila was a member of Louisville Christian Church. Preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Varner and one brother, Donald Unkefer.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanton J. Herstine; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Don Vrudney of Massillon; one son-in-law, David Varner of Louisville; six grandchildren and spouses, Stanton Varner, Nolan and Vicki Varner, Michelle Hodapp, Dan and Tammy Parry, Melissa Parry, Mark and Sarah Parry; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Stuart, Russell, Larry and Phil Unkefer.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Louisville Christian Church, 1800 S. Chapel St., Louisville, OH 44641, with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church from 10-11 a.m.
