William "Bill" Henry Kegley II
1957-2017
60, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous five month battle with brain cancer. He was born on June 30, 1957 to William H and Helen Kegley, who survive, and was a lifelong resident of Navarre. He retired as a mechanic from the City of Massillon in 2008 and has continued repairing cars for the community since then. He was a hard worker, a friend to everyone and was always happy to drop what he was doing to help someone in need. He loved life, laughter, hugs, and adored his kids and grandkids. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Christine (Johnson) Kegley; his children, William (Molly) Kegley III, Melissa (Jim) Warstler, Sabrina (Dan) Rittenhouse; his beloved grandchildren, Billy, Annabelle, Cheyenne andCalvin Kegley, Ila and Cali Warstler, Sky, Wyatt, and Waylon Rittenhouse; his siblings, Kim (Marty) Slutz, Lisa (Paul) Schrader, Chuck (Michele) Kegley, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Baptist Church, 10202 State Route 93, Dundee (near Beach City), with Pastor Gary Yackey officaiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. or on Thursday from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to services. Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster is handling the arrangements.
