Klingaman, Sr.
age 83, died Tuesday after a short illness. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Paul worked for the United States Postal Service and then became the first manager of the Canton Postal Employees Credit Union. He was a former Canton City Councilman. He was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, Catholic Men's Luncheon Club, American Legion Post 44 were he was a Past Commander and the Korean War Veteran Association. He was a Korean War Air Force veteran.
Survived by his wife, Alice M. Klingaman, daughter, Mary Kay Isenbarg of Canton, three sons and daughters-in-law, Chip and Toni Klingaman of North Canton, Mark and Brenda Klingaman of Louisville and Mike and Sherrie Klingaman of Jackson, Ohio, son-in-law, Steve Hudas of Canton, 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Myers and Margaret Beebe of Canton. Preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Hudas, parents, Albert and Anna Klingaman, sister, Dorothy Hershberger and a two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Klingaman.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Fr. Edward Benleit officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. Condolences may be made to:
