age 67 of Lake Mohawk, Malvern passed away from lung cancer on April 19, 2014 at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Tom was the seventh child of Edward and Mary (Balmat) Nieschwitz of East Canton. He graduated from Canton Central High School and the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree and MBA and then spent over 44 years working in the banking business. He began his career with Winters Bank in Dayton, married Joyce Woodzell and had four boys. They moved to Lakewood and had their only daughter. When his deceased parents farmhouse in East Canton went up for sale, Tom and his family moved back home to the house on Werley Avenue. Later, Tom moved to Louisville with three of his children and then met his current wife, Bonnie (Gebhard) Nieschwitz and moved to Lake Mohawk. Tom enjoyed being a father and a grandfather. He loved watching them grow and participating in school activities and sports. He retired from the Huntington Bank in Downtown Canton. He was a proud member of the East Canton Rotary Club where he served as treasurer for many years and included becoming a Paul Harris Fellow. Tom was also proud of being at the beginning of the East Canton Foltz Community Center and serving on the board of directors. His favorite sport to watch was football with Notre Dame being his number one team. With Bonnie, Tom learned to enjoy line dancing, fishing, driving the boat pulling children in tubes and life at Lake Mohawk. They loved traveling together, especially seeing different parts of America.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; his five children, Mike (Farah) Nieschwitz of Louisville, Aaron (Emily) Nieschwitz of Toledo, Dan (Sara) Nieschwitz of Canton, Nate (Alyssa) Nieschwitz of Massillon and Bekah (Eric) Heatherington of Alliance; 12 grandchildren, Abi, Riley, Izi, Michaela, Natalie, Braden, Cavan, Benson, Blake, Olivia, Dylan and Tyler; nine siblings, Mary (Jack deceased) Smith of San Diego, Ann (Ralph) Schen of Uniontown, Rose (Duane) Horning of Rocky River, Paul (Bonnie) Nieschwitz of Canton, Vince (Sharen) Nieschwitz of Canton, John (Joyce) Nieschwitz of Sparta, N.
