Annabelle (Getz) Fleischer

Age 89, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was born Dec. 8, 1924, in North Canton, Ohio, to the late Harvey and Mabel (Willaman) Getz. Annabelle was a 1943 graduate of North Canton Hoover H.S., a member of Paradise United Church of Christ; and she was retired from Union Metal. Her favorite hobby was rug hooking, being known as the 'Happy Hooker,' she belonged to the Navarre Rug Hooking Guild and the Buckeye Rug Crafters Guild of Canton.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Fleischer in 1986. She is survived by two daughters, Candace (Dave) Bishop of Louisville, Pamela Ann (Jeff) Snyder of Bluffton, S.C.; her son, Terrence Lee (Linda) Fleischer of Madison, Ohio; two brothers, Samuel (Ann) Getz of N. Canton, David (Becky) Getz of Florida; grandchildren: Kathryn (Michael) Hurley, Rebekah (John) Eisenbarth, Amanda (Christopher) Jones, Han Fleischer, Jessica (Trent) Attebury, Jason (Tammy) Snyder, Justin Snyder; and great- grandchildren: Abigail, Emily, Lauren and Annie Jones, Meredith, Gavin and Kiersten Hurley, Ella Eisenbarth, Carrington, Avery and Burke Snyder. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Catherine Tabb, St. Joseph Care Center and Aultman Hospital for the kind and compassionate care that was given to Annabelle.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, with Pastor Joyce Schroer officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Louisville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise United Church of Christ in Annabelle's memory.
