Frances A. Kolbl nee Piccari
age 94, passed away Tuesday evening at home surrounded by her loving family. A life resident of Canton, she was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed Saturday college football games and Sunday NFL. She also loved to read and to work on jigsaw puzzles. Her legacy to her family as she repeatedly told us and lived it through example was to enjoy life as it is not for the things but for the experiences you have and the lessons learned as you take this life journey. The contentment comes from the love and devotion of family and friends. This is all you have when the journey nears its end and it will brings you joy.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank, of 62 years and parents, Dominica and Sabatino Piccari, sister, Julia Polsinelli, brothers, Joseph and Edward Piccari. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Frank and Marcia Kolbl, Sam Kolbl; and daughters, Marilyn Ruthrauff of Canton, Cindy and Tony Terzano of Annapolis Md.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Ann Simile, Jayne Stevenson, Judy Joy; and brothers, Eugene and Raymond Piccari.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14 followed by Funeral Services at 10 a.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Ed Stafford officiating. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to a . Frances favorite was Salvation Army.
