Huffman
90, of North Canton, passed away on June 29, 2014. Priscilla was born in North Industry, Ohio on June 13, 1924 to the late Carl and Mary Stuber. She served in the US Army during World War II and was a 60 year member of Zion United Church of Christ North Canton. Priscilla was a devoted Christian woman and was a Sunday school teacher. She worked many years in the cafeteria for the North Canton School System, loved to sing, dance and read. She was a member of the Akron Airstream Club and traveled extensively with her husband John around the country camping. She also played snare drums in the Canton South marching band. The family is extremely grateful to Green Meadows and the Great Lakes Hospice for all their care and compassion.
Preceded in death by her brother, Carl Stuber Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, John; daughters, Cathy Button, Janice (Paul Webber) Huffman and Rebecca (Michael) Mullen; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Emily, Kathryn, Max, Bill and Jonathan and eight great- grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday July 3, 2014 at the Zion United Church of Christ 415 S. Main St. North Canton, Ohio 44720 with Rev. Eli Klingensmith officiating. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
