Jack J. Jaynes
age 86, of Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Canton, OH went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was born Oct. 5, 1927 in Newcomerstown, Ohio to the late Willard and Grace (McKee) Jaynes. Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and worked for the Ford Motor Company for 35 1/2 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Reedurban United Presbyterian Chruch, Canton, Ohio where he served as a deacon and an elder, and First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, where he was involved in healing ministry. Jack was a 32nd degree Mason with Canton Lodge, F & AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, June Luella in 1996; granddaughter, Kristine Renee Riser in 2007; brothers, Larry Lee, Russ, Dick, and Joe; sisters, Laura, Mickey, Dorothy, June Anne, and Nel.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (William) Galderise of North Canton; granddaughter, Kim (Mike) White, of Akron, Ohio; great grandchildren, Jake White and Abby White. Special thanks to loyal friend and companion, Gloria Bachman, and JoAnne Hospice House, Bonita Springs, Fla.
A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, Ohio. There will be no calling hours or ceremony in Ohio. A memorial service will be held in Florida at a later date.
