Obituary Condolences

Joseph P. Krach
88, died unexpectedly on Dec. 30, 2011. Joseph proudly served 3 years in the Navy as an Aviation Mechanic as a U.S. Veteran during World War II. He worked at Fishers Optical for many years. After his retirement he donated his time to Meals on Wheels and Canton's Ex-Newsboys. Joseph was active until his death. At 88 he continued to cut his own grass, rake leaves, and would have been shoveling snow this winter. He enjoyed bowling on a league and playing golf. He also loved watching sports and, sad to say, died still waiting for the Cleveland Browns to get to another championship game. Joseph loved his animals. Until recently, there was always at least one cat in the house. He also liked dogs and feeding the wildlife in his backyard. Joseph lived a long and active life, and he died peacefully.
He was preceded in death four years ago on Dec. 29th by his loving wife of 57 years, Dona. Joseph is survived by his loving daughter, Kathy Schaefer; brothers, John Krach and Richard Krach.
Family and friends may call Wed from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel 801 Pittsburg Ave N.W. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Stark County Humane Society. Those wishing to share a fond memory or send their condolences may sign the Reed Online Guestbook at www.reedfuneralhome.com.
