Lois B. Sims
age 84, died Jan. 6, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was a life resident of Canton, graduate of McKinley High School, and had attended the Ohio State University. Lois was retired from the Hoover Company. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ and a former member of the Market Avenue Church of Christ. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis B. Sims Sr. in 2010; parents, Guss and Viola Bradley; two sisters, Inez Bradley and Gloria Nicholson; and a brother, Guss Bradley, Jr.
Survived by a son, Louis Blair Sims Jr. of the home; daughter, Terrie L. Sims of Fontana, Calif.; five grandchildren, Lisa Sims (Robert Andrews), Gail James, Tobey Sims, Colette Owens (Justin), and Shallyn Sims; great-grandson, Leo Louis James; sister, Margaret Spicer of Canton; sister-in-law, May Sims of Canton; and many nieces, nephews and family.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Minister Keith Kull, Rev. Robert Smith, and Emmanuel Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Condolences may be made to:
